Capt Daniel Griffee
Passion for Fishing and the Outdoors
I was raised in the small town of Granite Falls, NC cutting my teeth fishing farm ponds for bass and bluegill. Got my first boat at 21 and began fishing Lake Hickory for Bass, Catfish, Crappie, and Bluegill. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a Physical Education degree, I moved to Havelock, NC in 2005. Since then I've been fishing the Neuse River, Newport River, and North River to Cape Lookout areas chasing red drum, trout, and flounder. I have been a competitive inshore tournament angler since 2009, with a few wins, a number of top 5's and top 10 finishes. I love being able to explore and share my knowledge of what the beautiful coastal waters of ENC has to offer.
